Size Guide

Veilando carries products from multiple brands, so sizing can vary between styles and suppliers. Always check the size information on the individual product page first. If a product-specific chart is available, it takes priority over this general guide.

How to measure

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape level.
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline without pulling the tape too tightly.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips with your feet together.
  • Garment length: Measure from the highest shoulder point down to where you would like the garment to finish.
  • Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist with your arm slightly bent.

Choosing your fit

Compare your body measurements with the product measurements where provided. For a looser or more layered modest fit, consider the intended cut, fabric and stretch as well as the numerical size. If you are between sizes, a larger size will usually provide more ease, but this may vary by design.

Abayas, jilbabs and long garments

Length is especially important for full-length styles. Compare the stated garment length with a similar item you already own, measured from the same point. Your height alone does not determine the best length because body proportions and footwear also affect where a garment falls.
